Mack Trucks and the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) have announced a new three-year partnership that will introduce 10 Mack Pioneer trucks into the racing organization's operational fleet.

The new trucks are scheduled to begin entering service later in 2026, supporting IMSA events and transportation operations across North America.

Supporting Racing Operations Across North America

The partnership will provide IMSA with 10 Mack Pioneer trucks configured with 76-inch high-roof sleeper cabs.

These vehicles will support a wide range of activities throughout the racing season, including race control, technical inspections, engineering operations, data analysis, marketing activities, and the transportation of equipment and freight.

IMSA's racing schedule requires the movement of personnel, equipment, and operational infrastructure between venues across North America. The additional Mack Pioneer trucks will become part of the transportation network supporting these activities.

Mack trucks have already been involved in IMSA's transportation operations for several years. The new agreement formalizes the relationship between the two organizations.

Mack Pioneer: Engine and Performance

Each of the 10 new Mack Pioneer trucks will feature a Mack MP13 engine producing 515 horsepower, paired with a 12-speed Mack mDRIVE automated manual transmission.

The vehicles will also include the Mack Protect driver-assistance system, designed to support driver awareness and safety during commercial trucking operations.

For long-distance travel, the sleeper cab will feature the FlexSuite sleeping arrangement, an onboard refrigerator, microwave preparation equipment, and integrated audio and navigation systems.

These features are intended to support drivers as they travel between racing venues throughout the season.

Connected Technology and Fleet Management

The new Mack Pioneer trucks will incorporate MyMack and Mack Integrated Uptime connected services.

These technologies will provide Mack Trucks and IMSA with information about vehicle performance and fleet operations throughout the racing season.

The connected systems will support the monitoring and management of the trucks as they travel between events.

A Three-Year Partnership

Under the agreement, Mack Trucks will serve as an official IMSA partner for three years.

The introduction of the new Pioneer models represents an expansion of the existing relationship between Mack Trucks and IMSA, with the vehicles supporting the logistical requirements of professional motorsports events across North America.

The trucks are expected to begin appearing at IMSA events later in 2026.
